Job Description
Join Walt Disney Imagineering as a General Superintendent - Electrical Specialist and lead on-site construction activities for innovative projects. Ensure top-quality and safety standards while managing teams and collaborating with various stakeholders to create magical experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate on-site construction activities
Monitors quality and safety in the field
Provide technical expertise and ensure work meets quality requirements
Coordinate with contractors, operations, vendors, and governmental agencies
Manage staff through performance plans and provide leadership, mentoring, coaching, and guidance
Train field staff in safety, work skills, and efficiency
Track labor hours and production against stated goals
Investigate incidents, near misses, accidents, and thefts
Collaborate with clients and project team members
Coordinate site security
Occasional domestic and international travel
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of field experience in applicable site development projects
Strong organization and tracking skills
Collaboration and relationship building
Understanding of permitting processes and experience with local jurisdictions
General technical proficiency with computer and mobile-based software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to handle 40-hour weeks of outdoor work
Confidently working on 40 feet or more building structures
Lift and/or move 60+ pounds
Expertise to manage large/mega projects
Preferred Qualifications
2 years of undergraduate schooling in a related field of construction
