Job Description & Requirements Work Experience:
Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex.
Chemotherapy and Administration and Consultation: Administers PO, SC injections, chemotherapy drugs, and other medications as ordered by physician: consults with other medical personnel and may provide expert information about chemotherapy, side effects, etc.; provides a variety of assistance to physicians.
Required Education:
Preferred Education:
Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program.
License:
Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
Certifications:
Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association.
ACLS (American Heart Association).
Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration - Oncology Nursing Society (ONS).
ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate - Oncology Nursing Society (ONS).
