Unit Description:
Join our 32-bed unit specializing in stroke care and observation, equipped with advanced respiratory equipment including high-flow oxygen, BiPAP, and stable ventilators. The unit emphasizes ACLS, NIHSS, and telemetry monitoring.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in MS Telemetry nursing.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• RNs on 5S must complete 8 stroke CEUs (3 from NIHSS included).
• Flu immunization is mandatory unless a valid medical exemption is provided.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with stroke and respiratory conditions.
• Monitor vital signs and telemetry readings to assess patient status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes.
