Job Description
Join Alameda Health System as a Cardiac Cath Lab Interventional Radiology Technologist, where you'll assist in life-saving procedures and ensure patient safety in a collaborative environment. You will play a critical role in the operation of advanced imaging equipment and patient monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Radiologist and Cardiologist in the Interventional Radiology/Cardiac Catheterization Lab
Ensure Quality Control on radiology imaging equipment
Monitor and document patient data during procedures
Maintain and evaluate equipment, troubleshoot as needed
Provide patient education and ensure a safe environment during procedures
Participate in implementing patient care standards and infection control
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology
Three years recent experience in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory with interventional cardiology/STEMI
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification
BLS - Basic Life Support Certification
Current California Fluoroscopy permit
Valid current certificate as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the State of California
Valid ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification or equivalent education approved by the state of California
Preferred Qualifications
Interventional radiology experience
RCIS Eligible - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, RCIS exam must be taken and passed within 1 year of eligibility
