Improve manipulative skills for self-care and tasks
Enhance school transitions and participation in activities
Ensure independence in feeding and maintain functional postures
Facilitate safety in the school environment
Promote competency of educational staff in handling techniques
Collaborate with school teams to develop tailored intervention strategies
Required Qualifications
Pass the National Board Certification for Occupational Therapy
Current and active Illinois license to practice
Bachelor, Master, or Doctoral degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in developing Individualized Education Programs and Section 504 Plans
Knowledge of evidence-based practices
Skills in documenting OT services and evaluating student progress
