Lincoln Electric is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for its Mentor, OH plant. The engineer will support the Consumable and Machine divisions, focusing on mechanical aspects of projects, improving equipment reliability, safety, and compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities
Work in a team on capital and strategic projects for production facilities
Responsible for mechanical aspects including facilities preparation and equipment design
Engineer solutions to improve equipment reliability, safety, and ergonomics
Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and EHS initiatives
Interface with engineering, manufacturing, and maintenance departments
Provide technical support to Production and Maintenance departments
Manage outside engineering and construction personnel
Ensure project compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 3+ years professional experience for Level II Engineer
Minimum of 5+ years professional experience for Level III Engineer
Good judgment and self-motivated
Safety conscious
Strong desire to take ownership and drive results
Ability to handle a variety of assignments and changing priorities
Ability to perform hands-on work and work effectively on the shop floor
Ability to handle small to medium sized projects with supervision
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Solid Edge CAD modelling software
Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, EPA and OSHA standards
