Key Responsibilities
Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine educational eligibility and level of functioning
Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members
Consult with team members and families to maximize skill generalization
Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy notes
Manage time off requests for full-time school employees
Required Qualifications
Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement
Current Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) license
Preferred Qualifications
One year of experience in speech therapy
Department of Education certification (if applicable)
Relevant certifications (e.g., CPR, CPI)
Knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs
