Job Description
Join Constellation Energy as a Reactor Supervisor, where you will lead the operations of our Nuclear Power Generating Station. This role involves overseeing reactor operations, ensuring safety, and implementing emergency procedures while working in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities
Oversee Nuclear Power Generating Station operations
Direct Reactor Operators and Equipment Operators
Authorize maintenance and testing activities
Implement Emergency Operating procedures
Evaluate and respond to internal and external issues
Oversee special projects
Create and review Emergency Operating Procedures
Review system documentation
Assist in developing refueling sequences
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Passing the Plant Operator Selection System (POSS) and Basic Math and Science Test (BMST) pre-employment tests
Completion of FLS Leadership Assessment
1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5 years at a non-comparable facility
1.5 years or more in a position equivalent to Reactor Operator at military reactor or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or physical sciences
Professional engineer license
Experience as a qualified non-licensed operator or as a supervisor or manager in relevant fields
