Key Responsibilities
Conduct annual risk assessment for applicable locations
Develop, implement, and evaluate infection control policies
Collect, record, and analyze data on healthcare associated infections
Report out various Infection Control data and monitoring
Conduct infection control audits and education
Assist in development and documentation of follow-up monitoring procedures
Act as a resource in the identification and remediation of infection control issues
Complete continuing education as part of ongoing professional development
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Licensed as a health care provider in Washington State, e.g., RN
1+ years of experience in a surgical setting
Preferred Qualifications
BSN or higher degree
Infection control experience with documentation of basic infection control training or certification in infection control or obtain certification (CIC or CAIP) within three years of employment
Clinical experience in a surgical or perioperative setting
