Job Description
Join Cedars-Sinai, ranked one of America’s Best Hospitals! As a Cardio Sonographer I, you will support patient care through echocardiogram procedures, utilizing your technical skills in a dynamic, inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform echocardiogram procedures as directed by the physician
Acquire echocardiographic measurements and create digital preliminary reports
Review physician orders for appropriateness
Retrieve studies from PACS for review
Ensure accuracy of clinical reports and billing information
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Graduation from a CAAHEP or other accredited diagnostic ultrasound program or 5 years of diagnostic ultrasound experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
1 year of experience in the field
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
