Join Lincoln Electric as a Designer Drafter to support our Plant Engineering team in implementing capital projects. You will create and modify 3D models and 2D drafts while collaborating with various departments, making a significant impact on our engineering operations.
Key Responsibilities
Support Plant Engineers with the creation and modification of 3D models and detail manufacturing drafts
Reverse engineer components from physical parts or legacy drawings
Create, modify, curate, and store electronic files using document management systems
Assist in the development and maintenance of templates and schematics
Maintain mechanical CAD procedures and standards
Support internal and external fabrication with supporting files
Document existing production and facility support equipment
Required Qualifications
High School Education or GED
3 years professional experience in design and drafting
Proficient in Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Catia, or NX
Familiarity with AutoCAD
Experience with data management systems (PDM/PLM) using Autodesk Vault or Siemens TeamCenter
Experience with measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers
Basic computer literacy with Microsoft software applications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to machine shop or metal manufacturing processes
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work
Self-motivated with a high level of ownership
