• Unit Ratio: 1:5
• Setting: Med/Surg unit, specializing in post-surgical and orthopedic patient care
• Orientation: Offered twice monthly
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1630 - $1750

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state (Registered Nurse jobs)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• Experience with post-surgical and orthopedic patients preferred
• BLS certification from American Heart Association
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients, including post-surgical and orthopedic cases
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on post-surgical recovery and ongoing care
• Ensure a safe, supportive environment for patients and staff
