Join Sazerac as a Market Development Manager to lead a high-performing sales team in expanding brand presence and maximizing distribution. You will inspire your team, implement strategic programs, and help achieve sales objectives within a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Inspire and develop your team to build brands
Establish and implement marketing programs for distribution and promotions
Help achieve sales objectives for brands
Plan and execute account visits with priority accounts
Implement and support Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
Minimum 3 years of professional sales experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry (CPG)
Proven success in managing and leading people
Demonstrated successful use of sales data analytics and tools
Valid driver's license and ability to travel within an assigned district
Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends
Ability to travel up to 50% overnights when necessary
Candidate must reside in or near the district
Ability to personally cover ordinary and essential business expenses
Must be able to obtain a relevant solicitor’s permit in any state
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years in customer or distributor management
On-Premise and Off-Premise sales experience
Market development and sales analysis experience
