Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service to policyholders
Assure coverage for each loss and policy provisions
Investigate claims to determine liability
Identify and evaluate claims indicators of fraud
Negotiate claims settlements
Authorize negotiated payments within designated authority
Ensure compliance requirements are met
Adjust reserves on all claims
Participate in claims forums
Communicate findings to claims management
Required Qualifications
Minimum one (1) year of highly successful Bodily Injury claims handling experience
Current Adjuster License or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
Outstanding customer service and professional communication skills, both oral and written
Understanding of Department of Insurance Guidelines and Requirements
Exceptional negotiating skills
Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office
Highly organized
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgement
