Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical expertise and education to improve patient care
Develop and implement nursing orientation programs
Facilitate competency assessments and quality improvement initiatives
Collaborate with healthcare teams and mentor staff
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
Document and monitor staff completion of nursing competencies
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Connecticut
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Nursing
Basic certification in Education/Critical Care Nursing
Five or more years of progressive experience in clinical practice, nursing education, and/or nursing management in an acute care setting
