Job Description
Join Disney Live Entertainment as a Production Artisan and help fabricate and maintain dimensional entertainment assets. Utilize your skills in various disciplines while contributing to engaging experiences in theme parks and resorts. This part-time, temporary role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Possess knowledge of fabrication tools, materials, and techniques
Assist senior artisans in fabricating new assets
Maintain a safe work environment including proper chemical handling
Keep records of chemical use and hazardous waste disposal
Follow Shop Lead’s direction to fabricate dimensional entertainment assets
Repair and maintain existing assets
Required Qualifications
Experience in stagecraft including carpentry, scenic painting, sculpting, sewing, properties construction, sign printing
Adaptability to change work priorities on short notice
Willingness to follow instructions
Cooperation with fellow Cast Members
Ability to interface with other departments
Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics
Knowledge of computer use and ability to learn Computerized Maintenance Management System
Attention to detail with multiple projects
Availability to work all shifts, Sunday through Saturday
