Join Raytheon as a Senior Principal Semiconductor Reliability Engineer, leading reliability testing and analysis for advanced semiconductor devices in defense applications. Leverage your expertise to enhance methodologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure device reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end reliability tasks (plan, design, test, analyze, report)
Enhance Device Reliability Function through new ideas and methodologies
Interact with process engineers, technology owners, and project leads
Produce key reliability metrics such as MTTF and failure rates
Work with compound semiconductor transistors and integrated circuits
Support onsite wafer foundry’s technology development and reliability-oriented design
Coordinate failure analysis
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum 15 years of prior work experience or an Advanced Degree with minimum 5 years of experience
Device-level reliability testing and characterization in compound semiconductor field
Experience in the design and execution of reliability test plans
Experience with applied statistics, reliability modeling, data analysis, and metrics generation
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Solid state device physics knowledge
Semiconductor fabrication experience
Failure analysis experience with SEM, FIB, STEM
Experience in RF field
Experience with lab tools such as probe stations, curve tracers, Keithly/Keysight equipment
Familiarity with industry standards such as JEDEC, MIL
Python, PyQt, and data analysis tools (Pandas, Sklearn, Matplotlib)
Strong problem-solving skills

Strong reporting and presenting skills
