Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to all customers
  • Answer incoming phone calls from health care providers and identify assistance needed
  • Focus on resolving issues on the first call
  • Schedule appointments and verify visit type and primary care provider
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • Experience with computers and Windows based programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with flexibility to work any 8-hour shift during normal business hours

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in a health care setting
  • 1+ years of experience with insurance programs and basic managed care principles
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
  • Experience working with an electronic health record
  • Call center experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
