We are seeking a dependable and clinically strong Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a per diem basis. This role offers the flexibility of 12-hour shifts with the ability to work days or nights based on availability and unit needs. The ideal candidate will be experienced in monitoring cardiac rhythms, interpreting telemetry strips, and providing compassionate, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:Provide direct and indirect care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring
Interpret telemetry/EKG rhythms and promptly respond to changes in patient condition
Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform nursing interventions according to protocols
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement care plans
Document all care accurately and timely in EPIC EMR
Maintain patient safety and uphold infection control protocols
Float to similar units within scope of practice, if needed
Active California RN license (Required)
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA – Required)
Minimum 1 year of telemetry experience (Required)
EPIC EMR experience (Preferred)
Strong cardiac rhythm recognition and acute care nursing skills
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed
