Join Verizon as an Outside Plant Technician and ensure our outside plant facilities operate at peak efficiency. You'll be responsible for maintaining and constructing plant facilities while working with a dedicated team to drive innovation and impact.
Key Responsibilities
Placing, rearranging and removing outside plant cables and hardware
Connecting wires and cables to terminals and hardware
Reading and interpreting engineering work orders
Performing construction work using designated equipment
Operating company motor vehicles to transport equipment
Climbing ladders and poles, working aloft
Working evenings, weekends, holidays, and unscheduled shifts as required
Required Qualifications
Valid state driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
CDL or the ability to obtain a CDL
Preferred Qualifications
A related Associate Degree or 2 or more years of relevant work experience
