Join The Jewish Board as a Behavioral Intervention Specialist Level 1, where you will create and oversee transformative behavior management programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. You’ll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care and compliance while making a meaningful impact in the community.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and monitor Behavior Management Programs
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
Develop Individualized Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Ensure compliance with OPWDD regulations
Participate in advocacy and coordination of care
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in clinical or treatment field such as psychology, social work, or applied psychology
Documented training in assessment techniques and behavior support plan development
National board certification in Behavior Analyst (BACB) or NYS license as Behavior Analyst (LBA)
NYS license in mental health counseling
At least three years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with NYS OPWDD policies
Knowledge of ABA, PBS, and trauma-informed care
Strong data collection and analysis skills
