Job Description
Join Lincoln Electric as a Designer/Drafter to support the Plant Engineering team by implementing capital projects and providing vital engineering support. This role involves creating and modifying 3D models and 2D drafts, collaborating with various departments, and ensuring high-quality design standards to help advance fabrication capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Support Plant Engineers in creation/modification of 3D models and drafting
Reverse engineer components from physical parts or legacy drawings
Create and manage electronic files using document management systems
Assist in template and schematic development and maintenance
Maintain mechanical CAD procedures and standards
Support fabrication through creation of supporting files
Document existing production and facility support equipment
Required Qualifications
Minimum of a High School Education or GED
Minimum of 3 years professional experience in design and drafting
Technically proficient in Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Catia, or NX
Familiarity with AutoCAD
Experience with data management systems (PDM/PLM) using Autodesk Vault or Siemens TeamCenter
Experience with measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft software applications
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Organized and detail-oriented
Self-motivated with a high level of ownership
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Exposed to machine shop or metal manufacturing processes
