Key Responsibilities
Assists physician in administering opaque media
Cooperates with all personnel in the proper conduct of the department
Develops film by automatic processing and utilizes the PACS System
Maintains adequate records and assists in rooming of patients
Assists in the development of technical factors and film selection
Performs a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment
Practices sterile techniques and prevents cross-contamination
Produces radiographs and positions patients
Provides protection according to radiation safety standards
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
BLS - Basic Life Support Certification
Fluoroscopy Permit issued by the State of California Department of Health Services within six months of hire
Valid ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification or equivalent education approved by the state of California
Valid certificate as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the State of California Department of Public Health
