Competitive Pay Range: $25 - $30 per hour - based on 2-3+ years of hands-on tractor trailer maintenance experience.

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

To become part of the NFI team you:

• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have 2-3+ years of equivalent practical in-shop maintenance experience
• Familiarity with troubleshooting equipment repairs and maintenance with diagnostic tools and equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows
• Must have hands-on experience with repairing wheel seals, brake chambers, and other physical repairs on a tractor-trailer.
• Successfully demonstrated problem-solving skills
• Examples of teamwork and customer service skills, including good oral and written communication skills.
• On-site evaluation with recommended training
• Preferred ability to obtain a Class B license

Your responsibilities as a Diesel Technician / Mechanic will include, but are not limited to:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical tractor and trailer-related issues using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows
• Performance preventive maintenance on our fleet of tractors & trailers
• Perform DOT inspection per FMSCA guidelines
• Physically capable to perform all job duties, which includes being able to lift and/or pull 75 lbs or more without restriction, stand or lie for extended periods, and have flexible movement to reach equipment.
