Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform repairs
  • Assist other maintenance personnel with repairs
  • Troubleshoot and repair Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s)
  • Follow blueprints, schematics, and operation manuals
  • Perform boiler chemical and wastewater pre-treatment testing
  • Conduct daily and weekly safety checks on boilers
  • Inspect and maintain equipment parts
  • Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System
  • Perform basic welding activities
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in industrial maintenance
  • Knowledgeable in industrial maintenance of facilities and equipment
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills
  • Lockout / Tagout experience
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two-year technical degree in an appropriate field
  • Applicable military experience will be considered
