Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years Cath Lab experience required
  • Certifications:
    • ARRT RT(R) – Required
    • ACLS (AHA)
    • BLS (AHA)
  • License: Active IL license or proof application has been initiated
  • Additional Submission Needs:
    • Last 4 digits of SSN
    • Middle initial
    • Requested Time Off
    • Must pass drug screen (OSF is a Drug-Free Campus)

  • Trauma Level: I
  • Charting System: Epic (EpicCare Inpatient)
  • Equipment: Epic/McKesson
  • # of Suites/Labs: 6
  • Average Cases/Day: 18
  • Common Patient Types: Coronary, neuro, high-risk coronary
  • Job Duties:
    • Scrubbing
    • Monitoring
    • Circulating
  • Must-Have Skills:
    • High-risk coronary intervention & STEMI intervention scrubbing
    • Must be able to scrub/circulate a STEMI
    • Must be willing to learn circulating/monitoring for neuro-interventional call

Scheduling & Call

  • Call Requirements:
    • Weekends: 4 weekends (Sat/Sun) per 13-week contract
    • Holidays: Call required
    • Weeknights: Required
    • Response Time: 30 minutes
  • Floating: May float to EP or IR
  • Leadership: Supervisor/Charge available during operating hours (0600–1630, Mon–Fri)
  • Dress Code: Facility-provided scrubs
