A Special Education Teacher provides specialized instruction and fosters an inclusive learning environment for high school students with disabilities. They collaborate with staff and families to support individualized education plans and ensure accurate documentation of student progress. This role requires in-person work, a professional teaching license with a Special Education endorsement, and experience supporting students with disabilities.

This is an in-person opportunity (hybrid and remote options not available) beginning in September 2025 and continuing through June 2026. The schedule is Monday through Friday following a full school day, with 32.5 guaranteed hours per week and service to high school students in grades 9-12.

Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction and cultivate an inclusive educational environment for high school students in both pull-out and inclusion settings.
Collaborate with staff and families to support individualized education plans.
Maintain accurate documentation and communication regarding student progress.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Primary/Secondary Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
Professional teaching license with a Special Education endorsement from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
Experience supporting students with disabilities in an academic or classroom-based setting.
