Join MSI as a Sales Representative for our countertop products, where you'll drive sales growth and develop lasting relationships with fabricators and K&B’s. This role emphasizes relationship-building and requires travel to connect with clients effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Develop relationships with current and potential customers
Assist customers with product knowledge and training
Manage displays, samples, and selling tools
Consult with dealers on retail pricing and promotions
Quote prices and prepare sales contracts
Analyze sales reports
Utilize marketing tools to promote products
Resolve customer claims/problems
Attend trade shows as required
Travel locally and occasionally nationally/internationally
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Two plus years’ experience in channel distribution sales
Minimum 2 years of related industry experience (natural stone, slab or hard flooring)
Minimum 2 years of outside B2B sales experience
Strong math skills
Ability to determine solutions for customers
Results-oriented
Intermediate computer proficiency
Valid driver’s license
Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time
Excellent sales and negotiation skills
Good communication and people skills
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to work well alone or within a team
Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving
Resilience to deal with customers who turn you down
Preferred Qualifications
Industry experience in Countertop, Distribution, and Building Materials Sales
Bilingual in Spanish
