Job Description

Join our team at Kaiser as a Psychologist specializing in child mental health. You will provide critical assessment, treatment, and support services to children and families, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance mental wellness. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, coordinate, and evaluate clinical treatment programs
  • Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups
  • Conduct psychological assessments and prepare treatment plans
  • Collaborate with physicians in evaluating patients for psychotropic medications
  • Provide clinical supervision to psychology doctoral interns and other mental health trainees
  • Report safety concerns to mandated reporting agencies

Required Qualifications

  • PhD/PsyD/EdD in Clinical Counseling, Health or School Psychology from an accredited college or university
  • Psychologist License (California) within 6 months of hire
  • National Provider Identifier required at hire
  • Familiarity with DSM-V for diagnosis
  • Experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions
  • Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practice and psychotherapy research methods
  • Knowledge of bio-psycho-social functions contributing to mental health
  • Competence in individual, family, and group psychotherapy
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous clinical responsibility including crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy
  • Experience in psychological evaluations of adults, children, adolescents & families
  • Demonstrated professional maturity and ethical integrity
  • Commitment to quality of service and teamwork
