Job Description
Join AMR as a Full-Time Paramedic and provide high-quality, compassionate patient care. You'll assess emergency situations, utilize advanced medical equipment, and lead a team while driving ambulances on 911 responses.
Key Responsibilities
Assess each call situation to determine best course of action.
Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures.
Communicate with patients and their loved ones.
Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit.
Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
California Drivers’ License
Ambulance Driver’s License
Medical Examiner’s Card
State of California Paramedic License
CPR Card (AHA ONLY)
ACLS Card (AHA ONLY)
PALS Card (AHA ONLY) or PEPP
Driving record compliant with McCormick/AMR Safety and Driving policy
ICS courses: IS-100B, IS-200B, IS-700A, IS-800B
