Job Description
Join The Jewish Board as a Case Associate and make a significant impact in the lives of New Yorkers. This role involves developing action plans and providing essential interventions for clients in the community, all while enjoying generous benefits and a supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Function as a case planner to supply appropriate interventions for client care
Develop action plans utilizing existing resources and establishing new resources for client care
Conduct routine community contacts and home visits
Evaluate living conditions of clients and provide guidance in independent living skills
Run groups under the supervision of a social worker
Identify treatment providers and facilitate client referrals
Perform individual/group counseling as needed
Required Qualifications
BA Degree with some experience in a community or social service group
At least five years of experience as a Case Assistant in a community or social service group
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual Haitian-Creole
