Cardiac Cath Lab Job Details

• Location: Toms River, NJ (Zip: 08755) – New Jersey healthcare jobs
  
• Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab
  
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/1/2025 – End: 3/2/2026)
  
• Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts per week (07:00 – 17:30)
  
• Call: Every 5th weekend and 1-2 times per week
  
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,830 – $3,040
  
• Holiday Policy: Must be available to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays
  

Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or related radiology setting
  
• Active New Jersey or Compact State Radiology License (must be obtained prior to start; quick process)
  
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT (RCIS considered as of 11/10/2025)
  
• Proficiency in cardiac and vascular imaging procedures
  
• Ability to float within skillset as needed
  
• References required
  
• First-time travelers and local candidates welcome
  

CT / Rad Tech Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures, including CAD, PAD, STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiac arrhythmias, and neuro (Stroke) cases
  
• Operate advanced imaging equipment (GE Innova IGS, Philips, Fluoroscopy) and maintain sterile technique
  
• Scrub and prep access sites, assist with stent placement, angioplasty, pacemaker insertions, and vascular closure systems
  
• Participate in call rotation and provide weekend coverage as scheduled
  
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care to adults and geriatrics
  
• Adhere to department protocols and compliance requirements
