Job Description

As a Lead Patient Services Representative at Cooper University Health Care, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to patients, ensuring accurate registrations, and leading a dynamic team. Your expertise will help enhance the patient experience while effectively managing front-line operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and provide prompt and accurate patient registrations
  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Greet, register, schedule and provide information to patients and families
  • Verify insurance information and collect co-pays
  • Prepare patient charts in advance
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and adherence to the Patient’s Bill of Rights

Required Qualifications

  • 3 years experience in a medical environment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Computer literate

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of medical insurances
  • Leadership experience
  • NAHAM Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) certification
