Key Responsibilities
Perform clinical and administrative duties in ambulatory settings
Assist providers with patient care and clerical tasks
Maintain working knowledge of regulatory standards
Communicate effectively with patients and multidisciplinary teams
Document patient information and maintain electronic medical records
Administer vaccines and collect specimens as needed
Required Qualifications
Minimum one year of recent experience working in a medical facility as a medical assistant
Electrocardiogram (EKG) experience
Vital signs experience
Venipuncture and injection experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Graduate of a post-secondary medical assisting education program
Current BLS/CPR certification
