Key Responsibilities
Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) including assembly instructions and workflow/routing
Provide technical input and peer review to engineering designs
Provide technical guidance and problem-solving to factory engineers
Apply manufacturing engineering skillsets to improve process and product designs
Serve as the manufacturing and producibility authority within the program
Recommend process changes to meet cost, efficiency, and quality objectives
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in STEM (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering)
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Experience working in manufacturing production
Experience with manufacturing process development or improvement
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to identify, reduce and eliminate cost, quality and schedule constraints
Technical drawing interpretation and proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools (preferably CREO/ProE)
Demonstrated hands-on mechanical aptitude
Experience with technical writing and improving technical drawings
Experience with MRP systems
Experience with Manufacturing Readiness Assessments
Current DoD security clearance (secret)
