Key Responsibilities
Perform a variety of duties in ambulatory settings including primary and specialty practices
Assist providers with patient care
Handle clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks
Provide information to patients regarding clinical services
Maintain knowledge of regulatory standards and ensure compliance
Required Qualifications
Minimum one year of recent experience in a medical facility as a medical assistant
Electrocardiogram (EKG) experience
Vital signs experience
Venipuncture experience
Capillary and injection experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Graduate of a post-secondary medical assisting education program
Current BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association
