Join Zen Educate as an Assistant Teacher focused on special education for the 2025–2026 school year. This role allows you to support diverse learners through individualized instruction, behavioral support, and collaboration with educators in a mission-driven community.
Key Responsibilities
Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) or Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Provide one-on-one or small group support using positive reinforcement
Collaborate with teachers to maintain a positive learning environment
Work with teachers, parents, and staff for effective support
Support with personal care or hygiene as needed
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
Experience supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to stay calm and patient in challenging situations
English proficiency
U.S. work authorization
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Special Education with moderate to severe behaviors
ABA Therapy experience
Behavior Technician experience
Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies
CPR and First Aid certification
CPI or Pro Act Training
