Education:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience (acute care preferred).

Licensure/Certification:

• Current, unrestricted Colorado RN license or valid multistate RN license through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) .
• Required Certifications (American Heart Association):
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Recommended Certifications:
  • CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
