As an Ambulatory Clinical Staff Pharmacist I, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe dispensing of medications, counseling patients, and providing immunizations. This role emphasizes world-class service and compliance with various regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and contribute to the verification, preparation, and dispensing of prescription orders for ambulatory patients
Counsel and educate patients on medication treatment and disease states
Provide immunizations to community members
Supervise pharmacy technicians
Required Qualifications
PharmD Degree or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
Current Pharmacy licensure in Texas
Current Pharmacy Preceptor licensure or eligibility for licensure
Current pharmacy-based immunization certification (if applicable)
Preferred Qualifications
Completion of an ASHP-accredited Postgraduate Year One (PGY1) Community Pharmacy Residency
