Join Optum as a Provider Relations Coordinator and play a vital role in enhancing healthcare access and quality. You will support the Provider Relations team by ensuring effective communication and issue resolution for healthcare providers, contributing to a healthier community.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a point-of-contact to the physician network and respond to physician needs
Timely response to provider issues and collaboration with other departments for resolution
Assist in researching and resolving issues communicated by network providers
Conduct outreach to provider network for inquiries and concerns
Assist with onboarding and tracking of providers
Provide administrative support to the Provider Relations team
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
1+ years of experience in a health plan, managed care organization, medical group physician office or IPA setting
1+ years of Provider Relations experience working with physicians
Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Suite
Access to reliable transportation and a valid US driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of Provider Relations experience working with physicians
3+ years of experience in a health plan, managed care organization, medical group physician office or IPA setting
Positive attitude and outgoing personality
