Key Responsibilities
Operate equipment efficiently to meet production goals
Assist with setup and teardown of plants
Perform general maintenance, repair, and service on equipment
Maintain housekeeping of equipment and plants
Lift objects weighing 80 lbs regularly
Use a shovel to move material
Conduct pre-shift inspections on equipment
Comply with safety guidelines
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
At least 18 years old
Ability to operate equipment efficiently
Mechanical knowledge of equipment for routine maintenance
Basic knowledge of welding and cutting torch usage
Acceptable MVR according to company policy
MSHA part 46 and/or part 48 or willingness to obtain certification
Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
Teamwork skills
Willingness to travel
