Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic procedures using ultrasound waves
Examine tissue and body structure to provide quality images
Assess each patient’s individual age-specific needs
Provide individualized age-specific treatment and care
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
Credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer – ARDMS or RDMS
Preferred Qualifications
Proficient in real time, color flow, Doppler, transvaginal, biopsies, interventional procedures
