Key Responsibilities
Assess and establish a presumptive diagnosis and implement treatment plans
Make accurate entries into the electronic medical record and order diagnostic testing
Prescribe, adjust, or discontinue medications or therapies
Evaluate and report significant risks to collaborating physician
Perform procedures within the scope of practice
Communicate with patients and healthcare staff effectively
Provide safe and ethical care and health education to patients
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) or Bachelor's Degree in Physician Assistant
Basic Life Support Certification
Certified Physician Assistant (NCCPA)
Preferred Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience as an APP in cancer or adult medicine
