- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions including post-surgical, sports injuries, joint dysfunction, and musculoskeletal impairments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.
- Deliver manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, modalities, and other interventions appropriate to each patient’s diagnosis and goals.
- Regularly reassess and update treatment plans in response to patient progress and changing functional status.
- Provide education to patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and recovery expectations.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and quality of care.
- Document all evaluations, treatments, patient responses, and progress in accordance with departmental standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain compliance with Maryland Physical Therapy Practice Act, hospital policies, and professional standards of care.
- Participate in departmental meetings, clinical education, and quality improvement initiatives as needed.
- Assist with general departmental operations and support functions when required.
Experience: 2 years recent PT experience – Required 2 years Orthopedic experience – Required License: Active Maryland PT license – Required at submission Certifications: BLS (AHA) – Required and must be current
