Job Details:
• Work as a member of the interdisciplinary team contributing professional nursing knowledge and skills
• Provide and manage patient care through application of the nursing process
• Care for medical surgical, neurology, and oncology patients
• Patient ratios: Days/Evenings - 1:5, Nights - 1:6
• 24-bed unit with floating between Med Surg and Stepdown units
• Experience required administering heparin, cardizem, and amiodarone
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Must work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Years, or Thanksgiving)
• Limited time off requests between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26
• 2+ years of med surg experience required (will accept first-time travelers with 2 years experience)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Iowa nursing license required
• Same day interviews available
