Job Description
Join Zen Educate as a Classroom Aide and support diverse learners in a welcoming school environment. You'll assist teachers, maintain a positive classroom atmosphere, and help students thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities
Assist licensed staff in the classroom with academic adaptations and individualized education plans (IEPs)
Work with students individually or in small groups to support self-care and social/behavioral needs
Maintain a safe and conducive classroom environment
Provide support for students in crisis situations
Utilize various learning methods to enhance student engagement
Required Qualifications
60 college credits or higher or passing score on Paraeducator Assessment or Paraprofessional Assessment
Professional proficiency in English
U.S. Work Authorization
Preferred Qualifications
ParaPro Certification
Behavioral Technician or PCA experience
Experience working in a school setting with children with special needs
