Job Description
Join Bethesda Health as a Nurse Educator to develop and implement essential training programs for staff, ensuring compliance and promoting a culture of excellence in patient care. This role is pivotal in enhancing staff skills and supporting quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a Corporate-approved orientation program for all employees
Conduct General Orientation incorporating relevant OSHA and Federal and State regulations
Coordinate and monitor orientation activities
Assist with mentor programs and promote a culture of staff development
Develop and implement infection prevention and control programs
Lead the facility's Infection and Prevention Control Committee
Prepare concise and timely QAPI reports
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
Current RN license in the state that you will be working
CPR/AED certification required or willing to obtain within six months of employment
Minimum of five years of recent clinical nursing experience required
Ability to manage time and organize daily schedule to meet productivity standards
Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and other programs such as EMR
Good communication skills and demonstrates ability to teach adults
Preferred Qualifications
BSN or related baccalaureate preparation in education preferred
Certified as a CPR instructor is highly desirable
Certified as an Instructor for the Missouri Nurse Assistant Training program and CMT instructor certification preferred
Educational and supervisory/management experience preferred
Previous experience in long-term care required
