Job Description
Join Zen Educate as an Education Assistant and make a meaningful impact in special education classrooms. Support students with diverse needs while collaborating with educators to foster a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students
Provide one-on-one or small group behavioral support
Work closely with teachers and behavior specialists
Track and document behavioral data consistently
Partner with special education staff and families
Support students with daily routines
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
Experience supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs
Experience providing personal care support
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to stay calm and patient in challenging situations
US Work Authorization
English proficiency
Passion for supporting students
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting children with autism or severe emotional needs
Experience in special education with moderate to severe behaviors
