Key Responsibilities
Utilize medical equipment and procedures for advanced medical care
Drive the ambulance and provide map reading support
Maintain all required certifications
Communicate with dispatcher for call data and feedback
Monitor and maintain the ambulance's condition
Document patient care activities and billing
Follow policies regarding out-of-chute and turnaround times
Consider patient status for transportation destinations
Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Current state Paramedic License
Valid State Driver’s License
Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP, BTLS or PHTLS Certification
Driving record compliance with AMR Safety and Driving policy
