Job Description
Join Houston Methodist as a Transplant Quality Coordinator, where you'll leverage your nursing expertise to enhance the quality of care for transplant patients. Collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and lead initiatives for continuous improvement in patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure regulatory compliance with CMS Conditions of Participation for Transplant Centers and other regulatory agencies
Monitor clinical outcomes and facilitate quality improvement processes
Collaborate with management to evaluate quality of care and patient outcomes
Serve as a clinical resource and provide education to staff
Facilitate collection of clinical documents and data for regulatory reviews
Develop and implement reporting processes regarding clinical quality
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited School of Nursing or Graduate of accredited medical school
Five years of nursing experience, including two years of Transplant or Quality experience or five years' experience as a physician
RN - Registered Nurse - Texas State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure within 60 days
RN-Temp - Registered Nurse - Temporary State Licensure within 60 days
Magnet - ANCC Recognized Certification in Quality Transplant within 18 months or MD - Physician - State Licensure
